Faye Mandi is a budding artist from Zamboanga City with a Bachelor’s degree in Fine arts from Silliman University. She is currently based in Dumaguete City.
Her fascination with the arts began with sketching as a child and developed throughout her early teenage years.
She creates sculptures — mostly assemblage, and in her spare time, she also paints. She works with found objects, but she continuously explores other mediums.
A lot of her work is influenced by Surrealist sculptors and artists like Joseph Cornell, Méret Oppenheim and Marcel Duchamp.
